FENECON relies on LION Smart batteries for sustainable energy storage

The batteries, known from the BMW i3 for their uncompromising build quality and reliability, are now produced by LION Smart and are used in FENECON’s Industrial S and M storage systems, where they fully demonstrate their technical advantages. These batteries are not only suitable for stationary energy storage but also provide consistently high power output year-round, independent of temperature, making them ideal for demanding applications such as peak load management and grid fee optimization. They also transfer the benefits of automotive battery technology to stationary storage systems and are well-suited for mobile use—for example, as FERESTO rental storage units. With decades of experience in the automotive industry, LION Smart successfully brings proven BMW technology to applications beyond vehicles.
