The Challenge
Go Electric set out to build the Lync® Mobile 60 — a rugged, high-performance hybrid power system designed for extreme field conditions. Developed for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the unit needed to operate in harsh environments while dramatically cutting generator use and maintenance. That meant relying on a battery system that could offer real-world durability, reliable energy output, and seamless integration.

The Implementation
Go Electric led the system architecture for the Lync® Mobile 60, designing a rugged, self-contained unit tailored for high-demand environments. LION Smart´s role was to deliver a high-voltage battery solution that could meet those expectations — and integrate seamlessly into their design. In addition to supplying the battery pack, LION Smart and GoElectric worked side by side with their engineering team, offering technical insight on performance, safety, and system integration. The collaboration was highly focused and grounded in mutual respect — each team contributing its strengths to bring a reliable, field-ready solution to life.
The Results
Today, the Lync® Mobile 60 is actively being field-tested by the U.S. military — and the feedback has been excellent. The unit delivers 60 kWh of clean, continuous three-phase power, reducing generator runtime by up to 75% and slashing fuel use by as much as 65%. The battery system plays a central role in achieving those results, offering dependable power even in challenging environments. It’s virtually maintenance-free, saving both time and cost in the field.
