LION Smart GmbH has successfully completed the technology transfer project cMALEESS (Cloud-based Monitoring and Analysis for Lithium-Ion Electrical Energy Storage Systems). This technology transfer project was supported by the EU commission within the framework of the Coordination Action TETRACOM. Together with the Institute for Software Engineering and Programming Languages (ISP) of the University of Lübeck, a highly scalable software solution for monitoring electrical energy storage devices equipped with LION Smart’s battery management system has been developed as a market-ready technology. The system allows to continuously monitor a set of vital parameters of the battery storage system by end users, but also enables long term quality analyses by storage system providers. The innovative software services extend and enhance LION Smart’s battery management system product family and form a basis for further growth in this business area.

TETRACOM (Technology Transfer in Computing Systems) is a Coordination Action funded by the European Commission to coordinate and support technology transfers from academia to industry.
