LION Smart expands its service portfolio

LION Smart GmbH is expanding its service portfolio to offer its simulation capabilities. Thermal simulations such as numerical flow simulations are an important component in the development process of a product. Early prognoses regarding temperature distribution, flow behaviour and optimization potentials of the respective bodies can be determined through the means of a simulation process.

LION Smart already uses flow analysis in the internal development of the LIGHT Battery. Thermal simulations and flow analysis are used, for example in the simulation of a cooling system but also in a thermal runaway of high-performance batteries for electric cars. These simulations are used for system design in the entire energy storage industry and thus represent a sought-after component in the service portfolio.
